Black Minds Matter is a national movement that celebrates Black minds, supports excellence, and promotes the development of high-quality school options for Black students.
When parents are empowered to choose an excellent school for their children, academic outcomes for Black students improve. So far, thousands of Black parents, students, and educators have benefited from Black Minds Matters’ programs.
But we can—and must—do much more. The achievement gaps between white and Black students persist despite ever-increasing per-pupil funding. There remains a deep need for more K-12 educational reform and empowerment within the Black community.
